We would go out and explore in the morning and hurry back to the cottage to spend time on the deck. The owners took us on an evening boat ride, which made our trip even more special. “This property and the hosts are amazing. The location is central to many hikes and boating (we paddleboarded) on the sound is wonderful on a calm day. Though the space here is minimal (the shower would be hard to manage if you are tall), it is clean and has everything you could want in it to enjoy your week. The view and deck are the jewels here, though. Be prepared to wake up in the morning to beauty beyond belief. We did yoga on the deck every morning to start our days out right. The hosts are amazing and kind, and took us on a boat ride where we saw porpoises, seals, and a bald eagle. If you have the chance to stay here, don’t hesitate! you won’t regret it”

“My wife and I had an amazing week at Deer Track. The location is perfect, close enough to Bar Harbor for shopping and restaurants, but far enough away to be peaceful. We were treated to amazing sunrises, bountiful deer and wildlife and beautiful vistas. The cabin has everything two people could need, is well appointed and immaculate.
